Hanging out with Grams and Grandpa at the retirement home!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

That afternoon, we headed to the 100-acre farm where Mom grew up. We have so many memories in this red barn!

Yummy flower :)

This is from a Daylily plant my Grandma planted years ago! I can just hear her looking at this picture and saying, "Preeecious, precious!"

And we have lots of memories of the outhouse too. Hah! Especially the catalogs that sat in there that was supposed to be toilet paper!

Get this! Under this very tree is where my dad first kissed my mom!! How precious is this!!

Fun at the farm with Grammie!

Guess Who!! I found this in the living room of the house, and I brought it home with me. Now it's on my fridge! My parents are the cutest couple everrr!

Later we drove around Marion and found where my mom got saved!

And she was baptized in this creek!

We had such a sweet time with Grandpa, and I wish we were closer! On the way home, we took some pictures on the side of Natchez Trace Parkway! I love this sweet little girl!

Even though it was a quick trip, it was so great to talk to mom for 10 hours there and 10 hours back, watching Grandpa meet Kate for the first time, and reliving so many memories I have from the farm! I marvel at the legacy that my Grandpa and Grandma started, teaching my mom to love the Lord, and she in turn taught her children the same gospel. I pray that all four of us continue this legacy, that we love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our might, teaching this diligently to our children, and talking of his commandments when we sit in our house, and when we walk by the way, and when we lie down, and when we rise. (Deut 6:5-7). There is no greater inheritance :)
This is AMAZING, hez!! You've documented everything so well and it will be so awesome to get to show our kids all of this one day! You've captured so many memories!! Sooo precious!!! Hoorayyyy for blogging! :))
