We finished out our very first summer in Anacoco with farm fresh eggs, country wagon rides, family birthday parties, and fresh pear picking! O, the farm life. Bliss!
We have a cute little pen where the chickens roost and normally lay their eggs, but we noticed they hadn't laid in forever! Lo and behold, I finally found their little hideout in the backyard! Eggs for dayssss.
One of Kate's favorite things...wagon rides in the sunshine! With her wisp of a ponytail, hah!
One afternoon, I tried to be a cute Pinterest-y mom and make a "sensory learning" experience for Kate... because that strengthens her cognitive skills and makes her grow tons of brain cells, right?? haha! It's called moon sand or cloud dough. You combine flour and oil, and it's supposed to have this crumbly texture but you can actually mold it into something. Moms guaranteed it would educate and entertain...buuuut Kate was not too impressed haha!
Then Cherry got a moon sand bath!

On September 2nd, we headed to Pineville to celebrate Nathan's 34th and Callie Bug's 4th birthday, complete with a pizza party at BJ's! First, we all gathered in the living room, and Callie opened her presents. She is some excited about her new spray!
Peek-a-booooo!
