Jennifer's 33rd Birthday!

On September 22nd, we headed once again to Pineville to celebrate a birthday...Jenny's 33rd! We had a Mexican theme, complete with Chicken Tostadas, Mexican Rice, Homemade Salsa, and Smoky Avocado Dip! Here's the cutest Cal Bug with her tostada!

After dinner and before dessert, it was bathtime for the littles!

Jenny is always a servant, even on her birthday!

Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Covered Strawberries for the birthday girl! It was diiiivine!

All the kiddos are on the counter, and they are ready to sing!

Happy 33rd Jenny girrrrl! For more photos, check out Melissa's blog!

Ever since moving to Anacoco, I've become a little obsessed with canning! I've read tons of articles, looked up YouTube videos, asked all the old ladies in my church, you name it! Here is my first attempt at making and jarring homemade pear preserves!

With the help of my little taste tester, of course! The good news is that all my jars sealed!! The bad news is that I did NOT like my Ginger-Pear Preserve recipe I used. Bleh on ginger! But yay for cute pear eaters!

Later that week, we headed to the park in Leesville to enjoy the last of the warm weather.

She loooved the swings!

Was pretty impressed by the sand...

And then she was over the park. haha! Love my little girl!

Leesville Fair coming up next!
