On September 20th, Kate and I got to join the Poole Party at the Alligator Park in Natchitoches! It was like taking a trip down memory lane to 2005 when I went alligator hunting down the bayou! (Can't believe I actually touched that thing!)
It was nice to see some of my ole pals with my sister! She's got the pregnancy glowwww!
It was sooooo hot that day, so Savannah and Andrew got a "cool" treat to get through the day...Alligator juice!
Pretty sure it was pure sugar with a little red food coloring haha! Grant loooved it!
AGHHH!!!
Baby gators! They're everywhere!
The cutest little farmer IIII ever did seeee!
This was the beginning of a feeding show! The water was completely still, and then eerie music began to play. Out of nowhere, all these alligators start rising to the surface, swimming to this one spot!
The kids were so intrigued!
Then a guy in a cajun house boat came by and flung raw chicken on a string over the side!
My little Louisiana babies!
Afterwards, we got to feed all of the random animals they had!
Kate loooooved the goats! While we were feeding them, the park played Cajun zydeco music over the speakers. Kate stood up and was bee boppin the whole time!
Savannah found a little friend. She would only feed the little white goat since he kept getting bullied. So sweeeet!
My Louisiana girrrrl!
For more alligator park pictures, check out Melissa's blog here! Love that we live so close that we can plan impromptu trips field trips. I've said this a million times, but I love doing life together with you guys!!
Let's do it again!!!!!!! When it warms up. ;))
